​We stay in locally owned accommodations - supporting local business owners and the countries citizens. Avoiding large resorts - which have a negative impact on the local environment due to their water and energy consumption. Many resorts also concrete over large areas of natural habitat negatively impacting local flora and fauna. Resorts also create a negative economic impact, not economically supporting the country in a sustainable way, and taking away from locally owned small businesses. We do our best to choose the most sustainably friendly, eco-friendly or green, locally owned accomodations, stays and hotels.
